S’more Balls

I’ve been playing around in the kitchen a bit (though I gladly concede the title of best cook in the family to my sister). Trawling around the web, I came across a recipe for chocolate-covered s’more balls (or reindeer balls if you’re feeling dirty 😉 ). After making some adjustments to the original recipe, I’ve brought these in to the office several times and they’ve been a big hit.

Georgian food in Portland

My sister spent about a year in the country of Georgia with the Peace Corps. Over Christmas and New Years, myself and my other sister met up with her, and we spent a week in Italy and a week in Georgia. While we were in Georgia, I was exposed to the wonder that was Georgian cuisine: bread, cheese, potatoes, meat (you know, the good stuff). If you’ve never tried khinkali or khachapuri, do so as soon as possible – you won’t be disappointed.
